Kiev court refuses to void Poroshenko ban on Russia social nets
KIEV, Jun 14 (PRIME) -- The High Administrative Court of Ukraine refused on Wednesday to satisfy a lawsuit from law student Nikita Yevstifeyev to President Pyotr Poroshenko to find illegal his decree banning Russian social networks in the country.
The court announced only an operative part of its decision.
In May, Poroshenko endorsed an expanded list of companies and individuals to face the sanctions against Russia, comprising 468 firms and 1,228 people.
The blacklist contains Russian Internet giants Yandex and Mail.Ru Group, along with social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, as well as antivirus software makers Kaspersky Lab and Dr.Web, and a number of mass media companies.
